Peace Now
Acrylic on canvas, 30 x 30 inches / 76.2 x 76.2 cm, 2025
I painted this because I couldn’t take it anymore—the endless images of loss, rubble, blood. Every headline feels like a punch to the gut. I needed something—anything—that could hold a little hope. This isn’t naive optimism. It’s a demand. The peace sign is filled with the colors of the Palestinian flag, because even in a world drowning in injustice, I refuse to give up on the idea that peace is still possible.
It hasn’t come. Not yet. But I want to believe we’ll see it—if not now, then someday soon.
This is my small act of defiance against despair.
