Resistance is Ripe

I painted this because waving the Palestinian flag doesn’t feel safe right now—especially as an immigrant. So I used a watermelon instead, a quiet symbol of Palestinian identity.

The seeds are not just seeds. They’re lives. Every one of them matters. Every one will be remembered. Even if we have to speak in symbols, we will not be silent.
