See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil
Acrylic on canvas, 30 x 40 inches / 76.2 x 101.6 cm, 2025
I’ve lived in the U.S. for 25 years. But lately, I’ve felt a kind of fear I’ve never known before—as an immigrant without citizenship, the ground feels shaky.
The freedoms I came here for are being stripped away, piece by piece. This painting is about that creeping silence—the pressure to shut up, blend in, stay out of trouble. But I won’t. Not now. It’s not the time to be quiet. It’s the time to fight back.
